Adding a Block with Images

1. Add a new block at Structure > Block layout > Custom block library > Add custom block\

    a. Give the block a unique name so it’s easy to find in the list of the blocks.

    b. Add images to the block’s body. Use the WYSIWYG editor to upload images and link them.

    c. Translate the block as needed.

2. In Drupal 8, as of release 8.x-1.4, you need to first place your block into a region in the Block Layout UI before you can add the block to your Mega Menu. If you do not want the block to be visible except for in the Mega Menu, you can create a "hidden" region that does not actually get rendered on the page.

3. Next, go to Structure > TB Mega Menu and click Edit for the menu you wish to add images.

4. Highlight the parent item where you wish to place the image and add a column where you want to insert the image.

Note: you cannot have menu items inside the same column as the block.

5. Click on the newly added column, select the Blocks dropdown and find the block with your image.

6. Make sure you have Show Block Title set to No

7. Save and go to site and review, make any adjustments as necessary

Note: you can change the Grid numbers (span of columns) to make the images wider/larger.
