2.x branch is a complete rewrite of Message notify.

The main issue of the rewrite can be seen in:
#1439524 by Amitaibu, rooby, crazyrohila: Rewrite module to allow other delivery methods and use of view-modes.

Note that this release requires Message 7.x-1.5 or higher.
