Initial alpha release

This is an initial barely-functional release for Drupal 7. Not all advanced features work, but the basics of getting a galley posted does work.

We've been using this in production for several months without issue; seems stable enough for an rc.

Pre-release bleeding edge snapshot.

Note that no specific effort will be made to maintain consistency between versions. Significant changes (e.g. modified default field settings, updated variable defaults, incompatible interface and class signatures) will be applied as development progresses, but no official commitment is made until the following release.
