A new release candidate, fixing the worst bugs that were reported against -rc1 and earlier beta releases. There's still a few known bugs to be addressed. Thanks for all the patches and testing!

(One "feature" snuck in, as UID1 showing up in all subscribe/assign lists was debatably a bug.)

Bug fixes:

Fixed issue with signature of og_group() function when importing users into groups
Changed handling of image fields to look for images under sites/default/files/uif_plus or a specified full path in the uif import settings screen
Added header validation
Added unit tests

Fixed all bugs after port from 6.x. Looks like stable version.
