Beta6 contains a number of new features, accessibility improvements, and large number of bug fixes.
New Features
Simplified theme structure: we removed the sub-theme structures and consolidated them into the agov_base theme and provided a simple way to switch through the colour schemes in the theme settings page. We also reverted back to Seven as the default admin theme. IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from previous beta releases, please make sure you take a backup of your theme and block settings, as they will be lost. We will begin supporting an upgrade path once we have a full release of aGov.
Replaced the homepage slideshow: The homepage slideshow now uses a new 'slide' content type which can link to any other content or even external links. Previous beta versions required flagging 'articles' to appear in the slideshow.
Accessibility improvements aGov has gone through an external assessment by Vision Australia which resulted in a large number of accessibility improvements.
Installer improvements: We improved the speed and stability of the installer, and fixed bugs which now allow aGov to be installed by drush, which makes for easier deployment via command-line.
