Many bug fixes and optimizations.

Addressed a couple bugs, including:

• Issue #1922372 by slayne40: Juicebox library version detection does not work for older Jucebox versions (< v1.2)
• Issue #1922350 by slayne40, rjacobs: Juicebox views arguments are not properly collected from XML path

This version fixes some small issues raised by users.
