The WYSIWYG features of this module have been removed and placed into a new module (wysiwyg_map).

If you currently use both the field and WYSIWYG features of this module you will need to either upgrade to this module and install the new wysiwyg_map module (it supports tokens generated by this module), or stick with version 7.x-1.7 of Google Map Field.

Issue #1796930: update.php Error: Call to undefined function file_displays_load() by alexh58: Require file_entity.file_api for 6.x to 7.x upgrade.

The module is works again!
Some changes since latest release:

• Replaced drupal_http_request() with cURL requests.
• Now if user is unable to get access token, previous one will be removed.
• Replaced module_load_include() with form_load_include() to avoid bugs with custom form loads.
• Some translation fixes.
• Removed extra cache flushing.
• Disabled possibility to crosspost node if no access token recieved from vkontakte.
• Updated documentation.
