Even before beta1 was on the Drupal site, I found a bug (I left in some old testing code). I removed it, but I had to tag a new beta release.

Since the alpha2 release:

• Search filters rewritten: now specified per search type
• Fixed some permissions bugs
• Added .api.php hook documentation in discog_mediator/docs
• Implemented hook_help() for all modules
• Created README.txt
• Various minor code fixes

This version is very stable; I haven't been able to crash it. Also, all of the specifications (API array structures, etc) are set in their final forms. Time for a beta release.

This release contains several bug fixes and new features.
Especially notable fixes include #1612708: Facet blocks disappear when Views caching is enabled and #1694832: React properly to Field API field changes.
