Fix menu_local_taks bug.

The time feels about right for an Initial alpha release. Many bugs have been reviewed and fixed in the past two days but there's certainly still known issues and many features to be added. As always reviews and patches are appreciated.

This is the release that contains the fix for removing UUID as a dependency. My bad.
