agentrickardMy immediate response is: No, this is a core behavior for local menu tasks.
jenlamptonI think core managed to solve this problem, somehow. For example, the local tasks for manage fields still get the right breadcrumb on the child page:
admin/structure/types/manage/article/display
admin/structure/types/manage/article/display/teaser (has breadcrumb for path above)
agentrickardProbably with
drupal_set_breadcrumb().Comment #4
jenlamptonSounds delicious :)
agentrickardAh. Core does it because each bundle has a distinct menu callback, we just have an id handler.
agentrickardHere's a patch. I'm not crazy about it. While it makes for better usability, it does break core patterns.
jenlamptonMuch easier to navigate now, thanks! :) I'm not sure about the "breaks core patterns" bit, but this will make my admins happy.
jenlamptonIt also seems like we might me missing a second level of tabs.
For example, on the "editor" tab you can actually get one level deeper, by clicking on the number of editors in a section.

But once you get there, there's no indication where you are.

agentrickardI don't think I can put a sub-tab there, as there could be hundreds of possible sub-menu paths.
jenlamptonAh I see. Well this is still a huge improvement :)
agentrickardCommitted.
