Problem/Motivation

A content editor can't save a webpage: the site shows "You do not have access to transition from Draft to Draft", because the Content editor role has no editorial workflow transition. Every authenticated user also gets "Use the administration pages and help", which only site administrators and editors need.

The Full HTML editor settings of the template don't enable Linkit, so editors get no link suggestions for content there.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the site template and create a user with the Content editor role.
  2. As that user, add a Webpage and save it.

Proposed resolution

  • Grant the Content editor role the editorial workflow transitions: create new draft, publish, archive, restore to draft and restore, plus "view latest version".
  • Stop granting "access administration pages" to authenticated users. The Content editor role keeps it from the core Content editor role recipe.
  • Enable the Linkit plugin with the default profile in the Full HTML editor settings of the template.
