Trying to figure out how to troubleshoot a webcam node that will only display default image

I've been very happy with the webcams module, especially its integration with views which allows for an easy user interface for browsing different webcams. All but one of the cams work fine. However, I've run into problem trying to figure out how to get the last, stubborn webcams displaying properly. The old page for the webcam using a custom script works fine:

But the new one I've created with the webcams module just displays the default/error image:

I tried stepping through the javacript in Firebug to compare the working script to the one that isn't working, but I couldn't spot the difference (I'm not all that familiar with javascript). I can see that it is trying to reload the image every second (the delay I set) but I can't see any errors related to what isn't working.

The only issue that looked at all similiar is this one:

Because if I put the webcam url in the default image field, it will load it once, but it does not load at all in the webcam field itself.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
