The tests were "ported" to PHPUnit in #3021997: Convert automated tests from Simpletest to PHPUnit, but that issue was committed and marked "Fixed" without actually completing the job.

As you can see from the DrupalCI test results at https://www.drupal.org/pift-ci-job/1616679 - NO test are being run for the D8 version of this module. This has a simple explanation - the namespace of the test classes is wrong so these tests are never discovered by DrupalCI.

Note, this may not be all that's wrong, but we won't know until the test run ... this patch makes the tests run locally for me ...

As you can see, with this patch we now have 4 tests that run (and pass!) on Drupal 8.

The testbot shows 3 coding standards problems in these tests. Two of them are triggered by commented-out code and shouldn't be fixed. But the third can be fixed, so let's do that at the same time as the namespace fix.

Here's a new patch with is the same as the above but with the coding standards fix.
