It would be helpful if was possible to create an argument for the parent menu id and to also sort based on menu item order.

I can think of tons of usage instances if both were added.

Otherwise a very useful module regardless.

Committed the argument.
Will be in new release available shortly.

I've tested numeric arguments for menu id, and a simple one-item path argument, but not a complex path such as "node/5", because that'll get treated as several args by the view.
Should work with embedded views though, where you pass arguments in an array -- but I've not tested this.
