Hi,
Just absolutely love your module! I have a request please ..
1. How do I show only the newsletter created by the user (in the drop-down) as there are so many and well, just to keep it uncomplicated.
2. How do I hide the options for the user:
(a) 'user name' and 'user email' fields as they will not understand what it is
(b) hide 'distinct' to the user as they will not understand what it is
3. Is there a perhaps a way to put the send in moderation mode, so that a moderator can check before send?
Would most appreciate and help and thank you.
Lilian

liliplanet commentedupdate: I found a way to hide 'user name', 'user email' and 'distinct' using \\\ Yes!
I see there is the (hidden \\\) option for a textbox to send a message. Is that possible instead of a previously created newsletter please?
Just finding it complicated for non-fundi's (users) to go through the process of creating a message and then selecting it in the drop-down.
Just the clean 'send a message' with 'email subject' and the 'text box' would be fantastic!
... and just maybe the message to be kept in moderation mode before send?
Look most forward to any reply, and again, thank you for your amazing module.

somebodysysop commentedWell, your first request has been done. You can now restrict users to send only the newsletters they create. http://drupal.org/files/issues/views_mail.module.5.x-2.0.patch
I understand your point about being able to send a message that you create on the fly, but unfortunately, Views Mail was not designed for that. It was designed to use the Simplenews module's newsletter type for sending.
I should say that it was originally designed to create a subject and message on the fly, but re-designed for Simplenews. Going back to that at this point would be sort of hard, but I won't rule it out.
