Better Documentation?

UPDATE: This was caused by views 2.14 which is buggy and broken

This module seems simple enough. But it straight up doesn't work. I add it to any view, on any site, and even if the field is empty it still outputs that field, and no matter what it does not put out the field that is supposed to when it's empty. I must be missing something because surely there wouldn't be a released module that straight up doesn't do what it says it does?

I have: Views If Empty: Views If Empty If field_youtube_id_value is empty, output field_photo_fid

But yet, no matter what, field_youtube_id_value is output. Regardless of the fact that it is absolutely empty in most fields.

Thanks very much in advance, hopefully whatever imperative step has been omitted can be added to the documentation. Sorry my subject wasn't descriptive, realized it after I submitted.
