This is a beautiful module. But i'm having trouble getting it to work. I've:

1) created the parent-child relation between usernode and my CCK type "animal"
2) created a (table) view that filters for the usernode types, and shows usernames (called "userlist")
3) created a (table) view that filters for the CCK type, and displays two of its fields (called "animallist")
4) created a fused view between the two.

But /userlist only shows the original "userlist" view.

hm, have you set the fusion in the same direction as the nodefamily relation is?
usernode -> animal ?

Another guess:
Try to edit the userlist view and save it again. Perhaps it got cached?

Title: My views won't fuse » My views won't fuse

i forgot to mention that at one point of playing around with it, i DID see two BLANK field rows in the Fields fieldset on my userlist view, which is the number of rows i was hoping to fuse from my animallist. Is that normal?

But i think there's a bug in either usernode or nodefamily as the behaviour there is a bit strange. i'm switching back to profile.module for the time being until i get a chance to sort this all out. thanks!

I don't know wheter this is normal. However views_fusion doesn't touch your "animal" view, as long as you have setup the fuse direction right, as I pointed out above. So this behaviour would be not the result from a views_fusion, node_family or usernode bug more like the result of your views configuration or a views bug.
