This module is letting me do exactly what I wanted. I am creating photo gallery using views as display format for fields. The teaser view looks just fine. On the full display view, there is extra margin and a grey background behind the images. This issue may not be specific to this module but I would appreciate if somebody could shed light on how to make the full view appear exactly like the teaser view without extra margin and grey background. Please see the attached images to see what I am talking about.

This is not up to this module to do that, you can easily do that by overriding templates.
