Could a feature be added to check off whether a group would be collapsed or not when the page is loaded? This would make it easier to have one "basic" group of filters and then some other more advanced filters for those people who need them.

I see now that if you use vertical tabs instead of field groups this module works as I have described.

Along these lines, I am wondering if it's possible to have the grouped fields be selectively collapsed, with a Next button, so that a user could move from one uncollapsed field to the next field, which subsequently then opens up (uncollapses), a next button, etc. This would be used to create a kind of wizard effect and the user would not have to manually open each collapsed field group.
