This module lets the content authors or users with specific permissions to embed any view as a block to be placed in any region of the page and the content to be passed in the view can be put at the time of placing the block.
This module also enables the author to pass contextual filters in any view from content authoring page only.
This is well integrated with panels and panels ipe modules. The page author can place views in blocks and can pass context without having to create the fields in the backend for applying context in the views.
