Request for Co-maintainership

Problem/Motivation

Our team has recently switched to using elastic search as our primary search platform and we have started to heavily leverage facets. In order to more easily render the facets where want them with our front-end system we need to use this module.

There are several bugs we have patched using both patches here and our own patches.
Many of the patches here are simple fixes that don't seem to have much progress in the way of fixing or getting into a release.

There are also other lingering bugs caused by this module we have not fixed, such as ajax rendering failures when adding a new filter and clicking on the 'ajax settings'. That we have not posted in during a time-crunch to pivot to elastic. There are also additional features we would like to see, such as getting sorting fields into the containers created by this module.

Everything outlined above, and more could be more easily managed if I could help manage this module.

As such, I am hoping I could be added as a co-maintainer on this project.

Please let me know if there is anything I could do to demonstrate my knowledge and commitment to maintaining and contributing to this module.
