Can you please make this module dependent on the PHP Filter module? I know most sites have it turned on, but in order for the PHP Code to work, PHP Filter needs to be enabled, and there is no way to know that without being an expert in drupal. I'll provide a patch file if you need it for the views_customfield.info file.
