I have created a view that displays a list of events and the events are offered by different departments. I have added an exposed dropdown filter that allows you to choose which department's events to show. The goal being that you can place the box on various department pages and set it up so only that departments events show up.

I created the view block and a view box but:

1) clicking Edit Box after placing it on the page, and changing the exposed filter and clicking save, just shows an empty box with "Loading...." in it. When hitting refresh the box is back to showing all the results.

--- I tried changing the Box setting to edit on "separate page" but that has no effect.

2) If I click Edit again, it shows that the exposed filter is set, but it still has no effect on what is actually shown

Doesn't appear to be any console errors.

I got it to work, had to enable AJAX on the views. Though what I was really bummed to see though, unless I am doing it wrong, is that I need to create new boxes for each department page, I can't just use 1 box and change it on each page.
