I have a specific arrangement of views. One view loads a single node (and I'll call it the "upper" view), displays it using node rows. The node loaded by that view has a few views attached to it using this module (and I'll call these the "lower" views).
If caching is enabled on the views attach displays, my "lower" views stop working. If I visit the "upper" view's path, things are broken. The "lower" views attach displays don't appear at all. Clearing the cache has no predictable effect. If I visit the actual node path, the "lower" views don't appear either. But if I clear the cache, I can usually get the "lower" views attach content to appear until the cache expires. Once the "lower" displays are cached, I can return to the "upper" view and everything works there too.
These views work fine when Views caching is disabled.
I discussed this with Eaton in IRC, but he had trouble getting the 6.x-2.x branch to work at all... so I told him I'd post an issue.

Crell commentedIssues with the 2.x branch are probably due to: #485832: Token data not passed to argument. Please try the dev release and see if that fixes things.
As for the caching... um. I have no idea how the caching plugins work so I have no idea what could be causing that sort of weirdness. :-)

eaton commentedI just ran this through its paces with the current dev version from CVS and it appears to be working -- a number of argument based bugs have been ironed out now, would it be possible to give it another shot? Thanks!

Anonymous (not verified) commentedeaton and crell, i think this issue arose due to a confluence of bugs and updates. i think this is fundamentally related to this issue #489254: theme file not getting included.
