Ascending and Descending words are not intuitive

In sort criteria, It always take me 3 seconds to choose between Ascending and Descending. I'm the only one?

I know those words are not "wrong" and come from SQL but we can perhaps found something more intuitive. So I will feel less stupid when I make a view ;).

I was thinking about lowest first and highest first using in ebay for example.
