Hi,

Why does $arg not work in the first position of the URL for a page view?

photos/$arg works, but $arg/photos throws a page not found error.

I would really like to create a view that goes to username/photos rather than photos/username.

Is there a reason why this won't work? Is there a way to fix it?

It's a bug. It's fixed in trunk and the new tarballs will be up within 8 hours.
