I have a content type called 'Tape'

I've made a view for it but dont know how to apply it to all the content types of type 'Tape'

Basically I will be making 'Tape' content type every other week and would like the view that I made to be automatically applied when I create the new content. Is that possible?

Do you want to use views to display a single tape?

No, their are multiple tapes at any given time. I make a new tape every other week. When they open say, Tape 1, it would use the same view if they were viewing Tape 100. I am using an argument of node ID which displays the correct data I need.

Please describe your plans more detailed fillled up with drupal words like node, nodetype etc.

My first thought on reading this is that the OP is thinking Views is appled as a template to the content type, and not as a themable filter of the content
