Changing Label on Custom Field

I am not sure if this is a CCK issue or a Views issue.

I add a field to the view that is a CCK field. When I go to change the label from Widget to none and hit Update. This value doesn't change. Nor does the Format under the label if this is changed. This happened in Views2 as well. I had to change to Views3 so that I could do OR in the filter.
