Hi there.

I've actually experienced this particular bug with several installations of drupal and views now, and it's a bit of an irritating one.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

Everything seems to be working 100%, but views just refuses to align horizontally on a grid, period.

See an example here: http://vincent-els.nl/fotos_parijs

Everything in the view works just fine, and I even use a block with a slideshow from the same view.

As you can see on the example page, the allignment does not work though.

I have tried everything, with/without pages, with/without AJAX etc. etc.

The view you are looking at on the example is set with AJAX on and to have 10 items per page with a pager on a grid with 5 columns.

You can see in the resulting view, that it's not how its being displayed.

The most irritating of all is the vertical alignment I suppose. Views just doesnt do what you tell it to do.

Do I have to correct this with CSS every single time, or is this in fact a bug?

Thanks for any ideas.

Cheers,

Looking at that page, it looks like from Views' perspective, it's all one entry, which is why it isn't appearing in the grid. My guess is that it's a bunch of images all on one node, and you're using group multiple values?

Indeed its a bunch of images from one node. However, I did not group them.

I actually did try this a while ago to see f it would actually fix the issue, but it didn't.

Like I said, I really don't understand it, and I have experienced this behavior several times now on different installations. On one occasion it actually started working normally miraculously and out of the blue.

On the field settings for that field, there should be a CCK option that says 'group multiple items' or something like that. Ensure it is NOT selected.
