Why "Normal" type views can't be disabled? Is there any reason?

Only "Default" views can be disabled, others can be deleted only..

This would be useful. Having creating a new View, I want to temporarily disable it. Currently I have to either delete it, or export it and import it later.

Marking as a dup of #548982: Add an API function for disabling a view - I'd imagine they'd get implemented together.
