Hello,
I posted this over at the Calendar module page but I believe it can also be a views issue. Here is the problem
I need some help trying to figure out whether there is a bug in iCal or in the way I setup my view. My calendar is setup here: http://nca.areadstudios.com/athletics/athletic-calendar. If you go to that link and check the ical feed icon on the bottom, you will notice that it has a link of http://nca.areadstudios.com/athletics/athletic-calendar/%/ical . Now because it has the % in the link, ical is not able to read the calendar because it is not receiving an argument, even though the calendar is. In my view I told ical and the calendar to receive a default argument of the current date. Clicking on the prev link in the calendar and then coming back to the current month (September) will then make ical and the current url display an argument of 2008-09, which will make ical work when it generates it's events. So my question is..how do I setup my view to show the /2008-09 when it is first clicked? In views, when I set a % in the path variable it complains to me that I cannot have a view with a % in the path..what am I doing wrong?
Also, after looking at the iCal code that generates the url, it uses the function $this->view->get_url which - according to the views 2 api - should prevent % from appearing in the url:
from the get_url function
00940 if (empty($args)) {
00941 // Try to never put % in a url; use the wildcard instead.
00942 if ($id && !empty($arguments[$id]['wildcard'])) {
00943 $pieces[] = $arguments[$id]['wildcard'];
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
