After migrating a site using the Backup and Migrate module for the database and FTP for the files, all my views are broken. Most of the fields are showing "Broken/missing handler". I think that the fields that are not created with the Field API are OK (like the node title), the rest (custom fields) are broken.

When I delete those fields and try to add them again, I get a 500 error. The log shows the following error: 

PHP message: PHP Fatal error:  Class 'views_handler_field_field' not found in /blablabla/sites/all/modules/entity/views/handlers/entity_views_handler_field_field.inc on line 21

I've checked that line and it seems to be OK, it includes views_handler_field_field and it's just like in the "original" site:

class entity_views_handler_field_field extends views_handler_field_field {

I have no clue of what could be going wrong. I've tried clearing caches, running update.php and a few other things, but I don't really know what I'm doing (I'm not a developer).

Any ideas?

That really sucks, I'm sorry you've hit that problem.

Are you sure that the codebase copied over correctly?

I double checked that the file mentioned in the error is OK. And also re-uploaded the whole "entity" module.

What else should I check and how?

It was a problem with the codebase indeed. I reuploaded again all the folders inside "/sites/all/" and now it's working.

I guess something didn't upload correctly. This time I uploaded a zip and unzipped it in the server, instead of uploading file by file. Faster and more reliable.
