Hi,
I am new to views... I downloaded today beta4 hoping to use a default image gallery view and /or to create my own, but I can not see any View Type for Image Galleries or Image nodes or something related to images... I am missing something?
By the way... I just enabled the defalut views and when I try to use any of the default views either the view page or a block, I get a message:
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/24/d32156390/htdocs/d6cms/sites/all/modules/i18n/i18ntaxonomy/i18ntaxonomy.module on line 578.
I am not really sure if this is a bug. Maybe I am just doing something wrong trying to use views.
My system:

merlinofchaos commentedViews does not have any built in support for an image gallery module. That would be up to image.module or some other module to provide. I believe for Drupal 5 there is an image gallery module that adds this to Views; you might check out that module and see what its status is for D6.
That error is clearly in i18ntaxonomy.module, not Views, so is not relevant here.

metabits commentedI will report then the error to i18n module developer.
About images... Sorry but I was just trying to follow
http://drupal.org/node/207216
with views2 and trying to create my own view for my images. I really have no clue how to get it.
Thanks anyway!

merlinofchaos commentedThat guide is for Drupal 5.x; I have no idea if that code has been ported to Drupal 6 yet. Check with image.module.

metabits commentedThank you very much.
Views is totally new to me and I was not sure who I had to ask. I try by the image module people.

Cyclist72 commentedI think there is a View integration for the image module, But it's not working yet.
I have no idea if the problem is caused by the views oder image module. Maybe someone can check this.

dngpng commentedI think the Views integration of Image module is broken because Views version 2 uses a new set of API to write hooks while the Image module still uses the old way to write hooks in image.views.inc etc.
New APIs are (partially) documented at http://drupal.org/node/235062 and http://groups.drupal.org/node/10129
I think the functions in image.views.inc and image_attach.views.inc need to be changed according to the new API. But due to the lack of documentation, I don't know how long it will need before this issue is fixed.

merlinofchaos commentedRe-opening a ticket in the views module does not help image.module get updated views support. That belongs in the image.module queue.
