Views doesn't understand comma separator

So I have a content type, and one of the fields is an integer field for price. In the Views, I have that field exposed and set to In Between to use it as a range filter. If I try to filter content that is in between a certain price range, like 1000 to 2000, it works great, but if I enter it as 1,000 to 2,000, it doesn't work. Views doesn't seem to understand the comma separator. Does anybody know how to fix this?
