I have a page view with a list of events ordered by date.
The view has an exposed filter (you can search by title, type of event etc).

I would like to have two lists / tables on the page:
one with the upcoming events and one with the past events.
Is that possible? (with the searchbox working) It seems so trivial, but I can´t figure it out (group by?)

Any help / hint would be very welcome.

Two possible solutions:
1. Add a date filter and configure it to be "in between" starting date and end date, so as to have the starting date set to the latest event you want to show and the end date to the one which is the most in the future
2. Create one page view and one attachement view and add date filters separately to them so as to show only upcoming events in the page view and only past events in the attached view.
