I created a view to show a list of taxonomy terms.

Each term is linking to it's default page:
?q=taxonomy/term/[term ID]
?q=taxonomy/term/5 - (for example)

In order to change the link:
I unchecked the option "Link this field to its taxonomy term page"
Under "Rewrite results" >> "Output this field as a link", I tried: "/?q=item/[name]"
I was hoping to get links like: "/?q=item/term1name" and "/?q=item/term2name"
Instead all the links are listed like this "?q=/".

How can I solve this?

I found the solution. In case someone google this in the future:
Under "Rewrite results" >> "Output this field as a link"
don't write "/?q=item/[name]".
use "item/[name]" instead.
