Ok... So maybe I thought this was going to be easier when I began. Its NOT!

Im making a website were I want to have TEAMS.

So I used CCK to make a few fields for creat content and now people can creat teams. This works perfectly.

Ive been trying for the last 6 hours to make a "List of teams" were it would simply pull the teams information and put it in a list format.

Team Name | Team Member #1 | Team Member #2 | City | State

But it wont pull ANYTHING. I dont even know how to tell it to pull form were it needs to. Im honestly lost. Ive looked through all the documentation and it seams the only way I can do this is by making a module.

There is no simple way to just pull everything people create in the "Create Team" form and display it in a list?

Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
Lets say your content type has these fields:
1. title
2. team name
3. member
4. City
5. state.

Then in views you can create a table that the headers will be the same as the fields in the content type, i.e.

team name | member | city | state.

The only thing in your example I don't understand is the team member#1, team member#2 - don't you want it all to appear under 'Member'?

I tried that and no matter how many teams join it says "No Teams". Thats what I didnt get. :-( and the teams have 2 members. So team member #1 and #2 are for those members. So thats my issue. Its simply not fulling from the fields I want it to.. Do I have to tell what "node header" I want it to pull from? Because it doesnt ask... So im confused. heh

Can I get anymore direction on this?

Sorry, unfortunately this request is way too specific. Please have a look at the issue queue - Views maintainers are buried already. You might want to try to get further support at http://drupal.org/support. Additionally, the answer to your question might be covered in the handbooks at http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/views already.
If you were able to solve this issue on your own in the meantime, you might want to add the involved steps to this closed issue, so other users searching for a similar solution might find it.
