replace exposed FILTERS taxonomy url from tid to name of term

Hi,
I have taxonomy:
aaa
bbb
ccc
to "create page with exposed filter, ajax=no ?taxonomy term, I get
?tid=0
?tid=1
?tid=2
in the url,
can I change the url to:
?term=aaa
?term=bbb
?term=ccc
to be more elegant?
maybe I wrong and I need to create CONTEXTUAL FILTERS,
Please help me/
