After another issue I placed I was refered to that (undocumented feature at that time) where you can use a $node-TYPE string on the url of a view to limit the view to a specific content type and use the nid of that node as an argument.

This is working so far for me but when you add an exposed filter, the form action="" does not recognize the $node-TYPE and replace with the node nid, it leaves that same string, then the submit goes to:

http://examle.com/node/$node-page/view?op=... instead of http://eample.com/node/123/view?op=... (which works if I type it manually on the address bar)

Thanks,
a.=

I have noticed the same behavior.

There are still some spots in Views that believe '$arg' is the only argument substitution string. These need to be fixed.

This will not be fixed in Views 1.
