I wasn't sure what category to put this in, of if I'm even in the right place.

Is there a reason why the beta version is listed as the "official" version? I only ask because my site_update module keeps telling me my Views module is out of date, but 1.5 should be the latest official version, shouldn't it?

I'm confused about this too - and I can't find a version which actually works.

I'm upgrading a site which makes use of Bonus Views and they're all broken in all the versions of 5 I can find!!!

Now that Views 1.6 is out I can definitively say to go with the official 1.6. Sorry about all the confusion caused by the never-ending betas.
