I need Comment: Last Comment Title to build summary views.
since we have Comment: Last Comment Time and Comment: Last Comment Author, why not provide Need Comment: Last Comment Title?

Because this information isn't provided in node_comment_statistics. While the feature you ask for would be nice, without some shortcut to get to the info, it's not really possible.
