Link path content [#1310190]

Hi!

First of, thanks in advance for your support! I'm struggling to figure out what to write in the "Link path" section of my Jcarousel image field (having checked the "Output this field as a link" box). I have been looking through the issues as well as searching over the Internet for hours and can't find any answer that does works...

I've set up, as supposed to, a specific content type containing both carousel_image and carousel_link fields ("url as plain text"), which I integrated as well in the Views fields. I've been trying planty types of link paths but can't seem to get the right one that links the image directly to the link specified in my node. Just to name a few (it seems to differ from documentation to documentation): [view_node], [field_carousel_link_url], [view_carousel_link]...

...But nothing works. I'm desperate!! Could you please either give me an answer or refer me to the right documentation if it does exist? It'd be truly appreciated!

Hello Kim!

Unfortunately I don't quite see a Views specific question here. All fields that are output by views can be "re-written as a link", and you could then link the images to whatever you want.

Please either provide reproducible problem with Views only, or move the issue over to the Jcarousel project.

Hi!

I've been trying over the Jcarousel support forum as well, but haven't got any answer and found another post where they were asking to refer this issue to the Views forum. My only question is, with no regards to the carousel but in general using Views, where can I find the link pattern that we have to put in the path field section so I can redirect any image to the link I included in my node? I've been trying to find an answer for weeks now and can't figure it out.
