Dont know what this means.

You could probably solve this by adding the content: author relationship.

I had this problem on the Workbench workbench_recent_content view despite the content: author relationship being present. I resolved the issue (to my satisfaction) by removing the Content: Edit link field.

Alternative the problem might be the references module. Please update that as well.
