I get this error:
Notice: Undefined index: handler in views_ui_config_item_form_validate() (line 4127 of /var/www/clients/client93/web121/web/drupal/sites/all/modules/views/includes/admin.inc).
This occured right after I switched on the internationalization module for taxonamy translation, it also has other dependencies like string translation if I remember correctly.
I am also using view modes for taxonomy vocabularies in order to override the core display of taxonomy term content with a view that uses the term id as context.
So after I enabled the translation modules I first got this error:

and the first error mentioned at the beginning of this issue report prevails...
I am using views rc1 and I have also tried the dev. It doesn´t fix it, kind of bad because the deadline is on tuesday and now all my views don´t work.
The buttons have lost their text in the ui but the edit links remain active in the preview area but when I click edit...nothing happens...so in other words, views doesn´t work anymore. Im basically screwed...

This looks a bit as you would have misuploaded views?

Helgi Jónsson commentedI have partially fixed my situation with the broken ui, the button work correctly now, however there are some issues left. What I did comes at the end of this post.
What is still not working is when I press on the fields and filters etc. the loading symbol appears in the middle of the screen but nothing shows up. When I press on the advanced tab, nothing shows up as well and it results in a page reload and nothing happens. But the buttons appear correctly with add and rearrange. The add displays displays correctly as well.
I switched from the recommended version of ctools to the dev and installed jquery update, that seems to have fixed something at least. I flushed the cache twice and I am using the uncompressed version of jquery. But yes views is still unusable at the moment. But when I add new stuff, views loads correctly and displays the details in overlay after loading.
So, I think that I might be able to safe myself by recreating them and without making a mistake.
I also found similar issues, that pointed out that the javascript might be broken, in my browser console only one error appears and that is css error by lightbox.
These issues also arouse with using cdn to fetch the jquery scripts but I am not using that.
So I think a pure views issue remains.
Edit: I have fixed views overlay.
Turns out that the newest release of lightbox for drupal 7 breaks views overlays and some other stuff as well. My views are working properly again by disabling lightbox, for everyone who has the same problem, here is the link to the lightbox issue: http://drupal.org/node/1281198 .
I am not getting any other errors anymore and hope the errors first mentioned in this thread won't stop me again.
YAY!!!!
PS: I love drupal but errors like these appear too close to my deadlines and that can be a heartbreaker.
