I recently found that I can't change any displays' title under Basic settings in views user interface anymore on my live site. I noticed this quite a while ago and thought that might be just for that particular view. As that wasn't something important I didn't pay much attention on it.

Two days ago when I tried to create a new view and discovered that I can't define/change the title of the new display as well as any old displays I created before. After changing the title in an old display and clicking "update", the title got back to the old one. The same thing happens when I tried to define a title for a new display where the title remains "None".

It's very odd as the rest of the settings work as usual. This happens no mater what settings I've done (without setting any relationships ,arguments, etc). So now I can't set or change page titles for any new and old views.

I've done lots of search and didn't find any similar problems I am having. But I can't think of anything I might have done wrong. The views user interface works fine on one of my testing sites which is in my localhost. Any clues?

Did you tryed to update to 6.x-2.x-dev and see whether the problem still exist on this version?
Perhaps this help you, if not i'm currently somehow stunned.

Could you rename the title on a new drupal installation? As always it's really helpful if you have a bug reproducable.

Thanks for your advice dereine. I re-installed views module 6.x-2.12 and it works fine now.
