When saving certain nodes or logging in with incorrect password/account I get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function has_more_records() on a non-object in [...]/sites/all/modules/views/plugins/views_plugin_display.inc on line 1992

Can you please checkout whether this is fixed in 6.x-3.x-dev already? There are thousands of bug fixes in there.
