Upgrading from Views 2 to Views 3 lost ALL my views! I now have a website with months of work with blank pages.
When i go into views it still has my views on the UI but says:
"Articles"
None
In database
Type: Broken
When I click on a view it's blank.
Help somebody!!!

merlinofchaos commentedPlease provide some actual information. Maybe screenshots.
Also, I assume this means you updated from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7? You ran update.php? Are there any errors in the watchdog/apache/php error log?

dawehnerIn general please use backups. Again always create backups...
So now keep calm. First try to run update.php/clear all caches. This should perhaps fix it.
Also you could update to 7.x-3.x-dev, because a lot of things are fixed there.
Take sure that you have ctools as well.

Rix-1 commentedThanks guys, I've upgraded from views 2.x to 3.x before with no problems but this time things went sour.
I managed to get last weeks backup restored so things can be seen again, thankfully. Am now going to try upgrading to 7.x-3.x-dev and see if that fixes it.
Thanks for your suggestions...will report back...

Done.
- upgraded ctools to latest dev
- upgraded views to latest dev
Looks to be working fine except on two/three views it has an error:
'Exception: SQLSTATE[21000]: Cardinality violation: 1241 Operand should contain 1 column(s)'
Am looking up what this means and trying to fix it but if anyone knows feel free to share!

Rix-1 commentedActually don't worry guys, I've found out it was only for one view (the other two relied on it) and it's easy for me to recreate the view.
Thought I'd let you know before anyone spent time on the issue.
Thanks again for the views-dev suggestion!
