Hi,

I have a primary menu like : Optie1, Optie2, Optie3.
Then I have a secundary menu like: optieA, optieB, optieC. This menu is on every page.

If the users clicks on Optie2 en then on optie A it is going to a view.

In this view i need optie 2 as a argument. How to get this argument? There is nodeid by url possible but i think i need php code whichs gets the node id one level higher. Does any body any suggestions?

What you are looking for is the menu api: http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/includes--menu.inc/group/menu/6
I will close this question now since it's a Core issue, not Views related.
