500 error when trying to add an image field [#1011732]

I have a content type with an Image field, nothing out of the ordinary except it does have Unlimited values.

When I create a view, I set the filters to be "Node: Type = Photo album" and "Node: Published or admin". Sort is "Node: Post date desc". Existing field is: "Node: Title"

When I click the + button to add a new field, I select "Field" and then "Fields: field_photos"

When I click "Add" I get an error msg:
"An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 500
Debugging information follows.

Upgraded from the 12/17/2010 build to the 12/31/2010, and still get the same error.

If I refresh the page after I get the error message, the field shows up under Fields, but then I get a different error when it tries to Preview:
