Hi,

i don't know if it's already doable ATM, I quickly look through the code and I don't find how to do it.

It would be good to interract this module with CCK, especially CCK fieldgroup.

Basically, when you create or edit a CCK fieldgroup, you have a new checkbox "render in a vertical tab", and, if checked, the fieldgroup is displayed in a vertical tab on the node edit form.

What do you think about this feature ?

Ideally, chx would be working on this. I'm not sure when that's gonna happen though

Yes, I would like this feature, too.

I want Vertical Tabs to manage "configuration" field groups but not "content" field groups. Being able to exclude a field group from Vertical Tabs would be great and I think it makes sense to create the exclude w/in CCK.

Or maybe consider creating a Vertical Tabs configuration page where you can decide which field groups are going to be subject to Vertical Tabs. This solution seems better because it will reach beyond CCK fields and you also don't have to rely on the implementation in CCK FieldGroup.
